Daniel C. Hilley, based in Los Angeles, handles ongoing public and investor relations, transaction communications (mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, private placements, equity offerings, restructurings), and crisis communications. Since joining AMG’s Los Angeles office in 2000, Mr. Hilley has served clients in financial services and alternative investment, energy, health care, manufacturing, real estate and technology. He has advised clients on more than fifty transactions, including Baker Hughes’ acquisition of BJ Services, Avery Dennison’s acquisition of Paxar, the sale of ICOS Corp. to Eli Lilly and a half a dozen acquisitions by Washington Mutual. Mr. Hilley’s experience in private equity communications includes advisory services on transactions and media relations.
Mr. Hilley also advises clients engaged in contested situations, proxy contests and unsolicited takeovers. He provided communications counsel to Central Pacific Financial in its successful bid to acquire CB Bancshares. In addition, he has advised both management and investors involved in corporate disputes. |
