Chuck Dohrenwend specializes in corporate communications and investor relations for public and private companies across a broad range of industries, including alternative asset management, investment banking, insurance, steel, and the exchange sector. He has counseled and worked with companies on communications matters related to initial public offerings, M&A transactions, strategic investments, quarterly earnings, crises, and politically sensitive situations. Representative clients include Advent International, Booz Allen Hamilton, Chartis, Deutsche Börse, International Securities Exchange, JMI Equity, Madison Dearborn Partners, NYSE Euronext, Och-Ziff Capital Management, Office Depot, and Ternium. Prior to joining AMG, Mr. Dohrenwend worked at Broadgate Consultants, where he designed and executed communications programs for private equity firms, including Clayton, Dubilier & Rice and Fenway Partners, and their portfolio companies. Previously, he was the manager of corporate communications at Knight Capital Group, a market access and trade execution services firm. He began his career at Edelman Public Relations, where he worked with multinational companies such as Bombardier, Pfizer, and Wyeth on a variety of communications initiatives. Mr. Dohrenwend has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the College of the Holy Cross. He also has studied at the London School of Economics and Universidad de Sevilla in Spain.
