Carina Davidson manages public relations and investor relations for clients across a wide range of industries, including energy, investment banking, insurance, alternative asset management, the exchange sector and steel.  Representative clients include Aspen Insurance Holdings, Assurant, Booz Allen Hamilton, Chartis, Deutsche Börse, Ensco, Evercore Partners, International Securities Exchange, Madison Dearborn Partners, NYSE Euronext, Och-Ziff Capital Management, Office Depot and Ternium.  Her work for clients ranges from message development, media relations, investor surveillance, crisis communications, presentation training and transaction communications.

She has been with Abernathy MacGregor since 1996, and has played a key role in the communications efforts surrounding a number of initial public offerings.  She assists pre-IPO companies in creating an investor relations infrastructure, recruiting and training IR executives, coordinating listing day activities, and providing investor relations and public relations support in the after-market.

Ms. Davidson’s work for private equity firms and their portfolio companies includes directing profile-raising initiatives, preparing fund close announcements, positioning the private equity firms’ investments in specific sectors and geographic regions, issues management, media relations, and assisting with announcing M&A transactions and IPO-related activities. 

Prior to joining Abernathy MacGregor, Ms. Davidson specialized in crisis management and public affairs at Edelman Public Relations Worldwide.  Ms. Davidson is a citizen of the Netherlands and grew up in Latin America, The Middle East, Europe and Africa.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Skidmore College.
